To recover and restore a variety of threatened marine species, while connecting people to ocean wildlife. We aim to promote green, sustainable living, through education and outreach, both in person and online. Oceana is campaigning around the globe to protect and restore the world’s oceans. We partner with nonprofits to foster curiosity for wildlife and excitement for their conservation, one tracking experience at a time.

There are some notable issues related to the fish-keeping hobby. Zebra Mussels Zebra Mussel Zebra Mussels are an invasive species that have been recently found in many lakes and waterways throughout North America. They are known to starve out local species, attach themselves to docks and boats, causing millions of dollars in damage. They are in invasive species lists for most provinces and states especially around the Great Lakes.
